Deadlines:

  • Register before Saturday, June 15 to avoid a late fee.

  • Registration Deadline: Friday, June 28. Camp Como will not allow for any registrations after this time.

  • Payments due 48 hours after registration. Registration will be dropped if no payment is submitted. If you cannot fulfill this payment requirement, please send an email to admin@rbya.org to keep us updated.

Price:

  • General registration: $400

  • Late registration: $425 (on and after Saturday, June 15, see “Late Registration Policy” below)

Payment Methods:

  • Online with credit/debit card, apple/google pay/Cash App (paid immediately after form submission) includes a $12.86 card fee by Square.

  • Venmo (paid to @RBYA1 immediately after form submission) No processing fee

  • Zelle (send to treasurer@rbya.org immediately after form submission) No processing fee.

  • CASH AND CHECK WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT CAMP. Please see “Deadlines” section. Approval can be granted to those with special circumstances. Please email admin@rbya.org

Travel Options:

  • If driving, please arrive at camp no earlier than 4 PM

  • If flying, fly ONLY to/from Denver International Airport (DEN). Pick up/drop off NOT available from any other airport

    • Fly in before 1 PM Sunday (6/30/24)

    • Fly out after 2 PM Saturday (7/06/24)

Minimum Age of Attendance: 13 years old by June 30, 2024

Bedding and towels WILL NOT be provided, make sure to bring everything you need from home!

What To Bring:

  • Sleeping bag/bedding

  • Pillow

  • Towel

  • Toiletries

  • Sport shoes/hiking shoes (for sports, hiking, & outdoor activities)

  • Summer clothing (appropriate for church camp context)

  • Swim attire (appropriate for whitewater rafting)

  • Jackets & some warm clothing (chance of some rain & cooler weather)

  • Plain white shirt (for glow-in-the-dark dodgeball)  

  • Bible  w/ pen & notebook

  • Reusable Water Bottle (strongly recommended for hydration)

  • Sunscreen

  • Cash (for merch, whitewater rafting and other activities)

  • A fun, humble, Christ-like attitude 😊

Activities:

  • Whitewater rafting, optional (more info TBA)

    • For now plan to go one day of the week

    • Price TBA, cash only.

Camp Physical:

  • Camp Como does NOT require campers to get a physical from the doctor in order to participate in camp activities. If you think it would be wise for you to get a physical done for camp or if there are any limitations of the camp activities that the leaders and camp staff should know about, you may send in completed physicals to admin@rbya.org so we can have that on file for the campers.

Camp Waiver:

  • Camp Como DOES require a completed signed camp waiver. Please find the form below.

  • Print it, Sign it, and submit it on the camp registration form.

  • Any registrations submitted on or after June 15 will include a late fee of $25 in addition to the general registration price.

    The late fee will take effect starting Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 12 AM Mountain Time

  • Our refund policy as it pertains to Colorado Camp 2024 is as follows: 

    • Any camper that withdraws from camp before June 15 will receive a full refund of their camp registration fee.

    • Any camper that withdraws from camp on or after June 15 will have to pay a cancelation fee of $20.

    • No cancelations are allowed on or after June 21 due to camp Como registration policy.

    It is very important to let us know about camp registration withdrawals, so please keep us updated by emailing admin@rbya.org. Thank you!

  • Campers at all RBYA camps are encouraged to leave all electronics, including video games, computers and other forms of electronics at home. Failure to abide by the “Electronics Policy” can result in confiscation of electronics at the discretion of the RBYA leadership and camp staff.

    Campers are limited to using their phones only during free time.

    Campers may not bring any video games.

    It is possible for campers to not have cellphone signal at camp. Internet connection is reserved for the camp staff and leaders. Campers may not connect to it, unless approved by RBYA leadership.

    Camp leaders and staff may hold campers cell phone or other electronics at the leaders discretion.
